In the Spring of 2012, the congregation of Community Presbyterian Church made a commitment to five vision themes. It was a decision that called for radical engagement.
CPC’s Compassion Vision includes a personal and church-wide investment in local, regional and international development projects. After a season of prayer and discernment, we are excited to introduce the international project: Sintaro Village 2020!
CPC is making a seven year sustained commitment to dramatically improve the lives of the poorest of the poor in Ethiopia. Sintaro Village is in the District of Malga, about 200 miles

CPC will work in partnership with Hope Enterprises. Hope is an indigenous Ethiopian organization with a commitment to the Gospel and to serving the people of Ethiopia. Locally, Hope has been partnering for many years with Venture Church in Los Gatos and Menlo Park Presbyterian Church.
